When I look into the mirror
what do I see
A beautiful African queen
staring back at me
I'm quite different from
other girls that I see
So I want to paint a portrait
of girls like me
I see my golden
brown curly locks
That glows when the sun
shines so bright
My honey brown eyes
that light up
like autumn at night
And my nose brings out
the definition in my face
The dimples in my checks
just can't be replaced
The beauty in my lips
leaves a taste so sweet
Nana's apple pie
just can't compete
When I look into the mirror
I like what I see
There's no other girl
quite like me
