as I rise
as I open up my eyes
and see the light
that you have shined upon me

Purify my heart from inequity
so I can share your word
Free my mind from evildoers
who come to bind me
so I may speak your name
Cleanse my spirit
so I could walk in your light
Heal my body
I want to walk upright
as a vessel
to do your many works
